Course Narrative
In this course, I learned more about education as well as global awareness and global competence. I was able to also understand more about different learning types in people, along with figuring out how to work in a group setting more efficiently. This course was very challenging to me, and forced me outside of my comfort zone in multiple ways. One way was making me be more of an extrovert. I tend to be more of an introvert, but the rest of the group was the same way which forced me to take the initiative and be outgoing to get things done. Learning more about global awareness and second language education made me reflect on my Japanese learning as well as reflecting on how it has changed me as a person. I had the opportunity to practice and improve my own skills, with weekly reflections written in Japanese. I also had a final essay written in Japanese, which can be found here.
